Due to heightened concerns about identity theft and the inevitable increase in litigation and regulation, the credit bureaus have instigated rigorous and costly requirements with which we must comply in order to continue to provide credit reports as part of our screening services.

In order to satisfy these new requirements it is necessary for us to conduct a physical inspection of your place of business and for you to provide further credentialing documentation (i.e., drivers license, rental license, etc.).

If your requested service includes a credit report, you are required to complete this inspection process BEFORE we are able to release a credit report to you. For this reason, we strongly suggest that you follow the appropriate link at the bottom of this page as soon as possible in order to avoid a delay in receiving the results of your next report.

The inspection is NOT a building code inspection of your rental property - it is an inspection of your "place of business" (i.e.: where you keep your business records - completed rental applications, rent ledgers, completed screening reports, etc.) and takes about 10-15 minutes. Currently, this is a one time only requirement.

You will be contacted by an inspector who is a contractor for Trend Source. This company has been approved by TransUnion, which is our current credit report provider.

One last bit of bad news - we are currently charging a $100.00 sign up / compliance fee to cover the costs of implementing these new regulations. If you have not yet paid a sign up fee, or paid a lower signup fee that did not include the cost of the inspection, it will be necessary for you to pay for these additional costs.
